Hoja Mongolian Grill was born out of a need for something fresh. Fast food restaurants had taken over the market, making each dining experience seem like the next, and we wanted to change that. We want to be fast and healthy, without the masks. We take pride in our efforts to show you the quality of our product before your eat!!

I’m a fan of our burgers. We homemake our burgers every morning and we try and source our ingredients locally. Arguably,it’s the best burger in town!”
What’s your favorite place to go after work? “I love the Yoga Loft. I go there several times a week. It’s a magical little community.”
What’s your go-to restaurant to take the grandkids? “D’Agostino, Kelly O’Bryans, or Dorian’s! We always order the Greek calamari at Dorian’s, but the grandkids always want pachos at Kelly O’Bryans. It’s great to go to the family-friendly restaurants before Music in the Park during the summer!”
What is something people may not know about The Art We Are? I want a place where everyone will feel accepted. Like the art, I just let anyone who wanted to put art, put art up. And now with the food it’s like the vegetarians can come, the meat-eaters can come, the sugar lovers can come, the non-sugar lovers can come!”
What do you get up to after work in Downtown Kamloops? “I always go to Barnacle Records to feed my need for music! It’s also great to support a young, local family. Sick shop.”
What live music venue would you recommend? “The Blue Grotto’s a classic gem in Kamloops. You get really great bands like Frapp City. We’ve seen them lots of times and the size of the venue is great.”
